About the event

Adam and I are happy to welcome Mark & Rudy to the Lyons Den.  We met Mark at Parrots in the Pines in 2014 and quickly learned why he is one of AZPHC's favorite artists.  Mark & Rudy randomly met on an airplane in 2013 and a musical partnership began.  They will make their Lyons Den debut; yes, we had to move 1700 miles away to get them to a house concert :)

  • Meet & Greet: 5:30pm
  • Music: 6:00pm
  • Suggested donation of $25/person (all proceeds 100% to the artists)
  • BYOB, chair, and a dish to share (optional)

About Mark:

https://www.markmulligan.net/about_mark.htm

Mark Mulligan deported himself to Mexico 30 years ago, ditching his gold Century 21 Real Estate jacket for flip flops and a guitar. Living south of the border, His songs paint pictures of sunshine, sailboats, and sandy beaches. And his book, "The Three Miracles" (available on Amazon) is a true story of love and faith, all proceeds to Mark performs throughout the U.S and Mexico, and has also played in Canada, Belize, the Cayman Islands, and Costa Rica.

About Rudy:

In the nineties, Rudy operated Music Cellar studios in Colorado where Chuck OPyle's "Keepin' Time By The River" was recorded. Jerry Jeff Walker, Jennifer Warns, and several of Jacson Brown's band joined the project.

Rudy has since recorded his own songs and has two CD's available, "Places" and "Undiscovered." A new project is currently underway.

After meeting Mark Mulligan on a flight to Phoenix in 2013, Rudy joined Mark on stage as his guitar player in Mexico and across the western US.  Performing with Mark has opened the doors for Ruday to play with several other Trop Rock favorites including Kelly McGuire, Sunny Jim White, Donny Brewer and Thom Shepherd.
